"We should not be mutilating children."
Not children, but babies are just fine. 1.7% of humans are born hermaphrodite. Have you ever met one? In my high school of 125, 1.7% means there were 2 people born with both sex organs. How did that not become a topic of conversation? Even in adulthood, I have never met a person who complained about this affliction.
Why are there trans-people, now? Why are there people who don't feel like the gender 'they were born as'...?
The answer lies in that missing 1.7%... In America when a baby is born, there are only 2 boxes to pick from, for gender. When a baby is born with both sex organs, the Doctor looks at the junk and makes a judgement call. If it looks enough like a penis, sew shut the vagina. Not enough wiener, lop it off and slap on a pink outfit. In some cases the parents are not even informed!
WHAT?
In Native American cultures babies born inter-sex were revered as counselors. You know how men and women think differently, well these people were or are capable of being the bridge. Instead of celebrating these people as the key to our misunderstanding and constant miscommunication with the opposite sex, we mutilate their genitals, then blame them for using the wrong bathrooms!?
All of this is happening from a political party that believes God doesn't make mistakes!
1.7% of humans are born with both sex organs. This is a historical fact, and the problem is we cut them to ribbons so they fit into 1 of the 2 boxes we created to describe gender, then we ridicule them as drag queens???
We should stop mutilating BABIES, and begin treating these people like a solution rather than the problem.
